800℃ 600g Brown High Silica Cloth Fiberglass Fabric For Fire Blanket
High silica cloth is a high strength and inorganic fiber glass cloth which is with more than 96% SiO2. This fabric is woven by continuous filament silica fibers. The common thickness Unionfull produce are 0.7mm and 1.3mm. For this 600g 0.7mm silica cloth, the melting point is close to 1300℃. It can resist a temperature below 800 degree C continuously. Besides, it is able to bear instantaneous temperature of 1300℃. It is a great high temperature materials with features of heat/thermal insulation, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance.
Common weave type of high silica cloth we produce is satin weave. This 600gsm silica cloth is 8HS satin weave. In this 8H satin, there is a seven-by-one interfacing where a weft yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. 8HS weave is more stable weave than plain weave.
Fiberglass fabric is developed to take place of asbestos fabric which is usually used in welding and hot work place. For these places, heat protection and molten metal splash shield is necessary. High silica cloth performs especially well in fiberglass fabric because of its special surface treatment. Silica cloth is easy to fabricate and can remain flexible after high temperature exposure.
